어제 퓨처 솔 우승자인 오스틴 저맥캔스는 카멜로 앤써니를 만나 멜로 M6의 새로운 버전을 전달했다. 멜로는 오늘 오클라호마시티전에서 퓨처솔 1등 디자인 농구화를 신는다. 오스틴이 디자인한 멜로 M6는 조던 브랜드와 나이키의 간부와 디자이너가 1등으로 선정했다. 올해로 3년째를 맞는 퓨처 솔은 신발 업계와 신발 디자인에 관심이 많은 고등학생들을 대상으로 하는 조던 브랜드 제품 디자인 경연대회다. 오스틴이 신발 디자이너가 되는 꿈을 실현시킬 수 있도록 나이키는 5천불 상당의 컴퓨터 장비를 증정했고 나이키 본사에서 조던 브랜드 디자인 팀을 만날 수 있는 기회가 주어졌다. 오스틴이 디자인한 멜로 M6는 6월에 정해진 매장을 통해 한정판으로 발매된다. 오스틴, 축하해!

Yesterday Austin Jermacans, winner of the Jordan Future Sole Design competition, met with Melo to present him with his version of the M6 that he will wear on court tonight against Oklahoma City. Austin’s design of the Melo M6 was selected by a panel of Jordan and Nike VP’s and Designers as the winning submission in the Future Sole competition. Future Sole, now in its third year, is a sneaker design contest that Jordan conducts for high school students interested in pursing design careers within the footwear industry. To help Austin follow his dreams of being a footwear designer he was awarded $5000 in computer equipment and had the opportunity to travel to campus and meet with our Jordan design team. A limited run of Austin’s customized Melo M6’s will be made available to the public at select retailers in June. Congratulations Austin!
